Havre Police Department

Travis Vaughn Standing horn of Havre, 42, was arrested on charges of failure to register as a sexual or violent offender and resisting arrest, after a caller on Washington Avenue reported a trespasser Monday at 9:09 a.m.

A hit and run crash was reported in the Havre area Monday at 5:20 p.m.

Monday at 6:53 p.m., a Fifth Avenue caller asked to speak with an officer about a theft.

A caller at a First Street business reported at 8:28 p.m. Monday that a shoplifter just left with a case of Twisted Tea.

Colt Ryan Billy of Box Elder, 34, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving without vehicle insurance and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and on two Justice or City court warrants, after a caller on First Street West asked at 10:21 p.m. Monday for officers to make a well-being check on a man in a black Altima.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of juvenile curfew violations and driving without a driver's license and two 13-year-olds and a 14-year-old were each issued a summons on a charge of juvenile curfew violations after a caller on Smithville Road reported at 12:51 a.m. today that a girl was going through vehicles in the neighborhood, and investigating officers made a vehicle stop on 12th Avenue at 1:36 a.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Dennis Charles Lowen of Havre, 72, was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after a caller in North Havre asked Monday at 11:14 a.m. to speak with an officer about an altercation.

A caller on Fourth Avenue Northwest asked Monday at 4:33 p.m. for assistance from animal control.

A caller at a River Road North business reported a theft Monday at 5:44 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday and one early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four cats and a 6-month-old kitten all of unknown gender, one male and three female 16-week-old kittens and two male cats.

The shelter also held a female mixed-breed dog, a mixed-breed male dog, a male 24-week-old shepherd puppy, a female 7-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 17-week-old shepherd puppy.
