General Election is Tuesday

The General Election is drawing to a close, with all votes in Montana needing to be turned in by 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Normal polling places are not open for voting in most counties in Montana, although voters wishing to vote in person can do so at their county clerk and recorder’s offices and official ballot drop-off places have been put in place in some counties where filled-out ballots that were mailed to the voters can be dropped off.

The governor gave counties the option to do an all-mail ballot to allow people to avoid potential exposure to COVID-19 at the polls....
