Havre schools could be virtual Monday if weather closes buildings

Havre Public Schools announced that if the weather forces closure of school buildings Monday the school will hold a remote teaching day rather than a Group A in-class teaching day.

A release on the Havre Public Schools website says that Tuesday would remain a B day, Wednesday an A day, Thursday a B day and Friday an A day.

Notification of Monday being a remote day would go out through Infinite Campus messenger on Monday morning before 6:30 a.m.

"Parents and/or students would need to log into Infinite Campus to take virtual attendance for Monday if we are not in face-to-face instruction," the release says. "If no notification goes out on Monday, we would remain in Schedule 2B. Monday would then be an "A" Day.

The release said the district will use the Schedule 2B Monday unless inclement weather forces it to close the buildings for safety reasons, which would be the only reason it would use the remote and virtual learning that day.
