The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after Wednesday morning's update was 42,070 with 928 new cases.

Today’s update on the state map was not ready by printing deadline this morning. The number of hospitalizations, including people hospitalized before being tested, was 1,530 with 500 active hospitalizations. The number of tests completed was 547,728 with 3,162 new tests listed Wednesday morning. The number of deaths was 472. The number of recoveries was 24,594 and the number of active cases was 17,004.

Local cases by county:

Hill: 9 new cases, 1,061 total, 232 active, 24 active hospitalizations, 805 recovered, 26 deaths

Blaine: 6 new cases, 449 total, 133 active, 9 active hospitalizations, 303 recovered, 13 deaths

Liberty: No new cases reported by Tuesday night, 39 total, 1 active, 37 recovered, 1 death

Chouteau: 2 new cases reported by Tuesday night 163 total, 79 active, 84 recovered
