Havre Police Department

A Third Avenue caller reported Friday at 10:15 a.m. that a package was stolen, but the package was delivered to a neighbor who took it to the police station and the caller retrieved the package Sunday at 7:25 p.m.


Stolen property was reported by a Ninth Street caller Friday at 1:53 p.m.


Larae Ann Sunchild of Havre, 39, was issued a summons on a charge of trespass to property after a female trespasser was reported at a Ninth Avenue business Friday at 6:53 p.m.


Cedric Belcourt of Rocky Boy, 18, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and minor in possession after a caller on Seventh Street reported a suspicious man walking into a neighbors home Saturday at 6:35 p.m.


Trey Murphy of Havre, 21, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, while officers on Saturday at 11:45 p.m. were assisting another agency with an earlier call that was redacted from the dispatch log.


A 15-year-old and a 14-year-old were each issued a summons on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant on 11th Street West Saturday at 12:42 a.m. in response to a 12:12 a.m. request for assistance with a juvenile on 11th Street West.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sunday at 1:35 p.m., a caller in the county reported fraud on a credit card.


Meagan Michelle Mountain or Havre, 24, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, refused to test, during a vehicle stop on Eighth Avenue West at 1:57 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to a call Friday, two Saturday and eight Sunday.


Firefighters responded to a fire call on the 600 Block of Sixth Street Sunday at 10:11 a.m. The fire started after a towel laying on a heater caught fire, but the towel was taken outside and the flames extinguished before the fire crew's arrival.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three cats unknown gender, three male cats, one female and three male 9-month-old kittens, two female 20-week-old kittens and two female cats.


The shelter also held a male mixed-breed dog, a male 21-week-old border collie puppy, a male 11-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female mixed breed dog, a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 20-week-old shepherd puppy.


A boy was born Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, to Aundrea and Gary Palladino of Havre.


A boy was born Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, to Jenny and Tom Nothhelfer of Havre.
