Blaine County reported Wednesday night another COVID-19-related death.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update, the day after the holiday, was 59,796 with 148 new cases, 15,852 active. The map website said the totals probably would be updated as investigations continue. The number of active hospitalizations listed this morning was 452. The number of deaths was 653.

Blaine County reported Wednesday evening 4 new cases, 509 total, 42 active, 3 active hospitalizations, 19 deaths

Hill County reported Wednesday evening 21 new cases, 1,302 total, 242 active, 6 active hospitalizations, 31 deaths

Rocky Boy — also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, Wednesday night reported 9 new cases, 629 total, 114 active, 98 active on the reservation 4 active hospitalizations, deaths not listed.

Fort Belknap, reported Wednesday, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 3 new cases, 317 total, 3 active hospitalizations, 8 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update Thursday morning, had 3 new cases, 82 total, 33 active, 1 death

Chouteau County, reported on the state update Thursday morning, had 2 new cases, 271 total, 57 active, 3 deaths
