Havre Police Department

An officer investigated suspicious activity involving a vehicle on First Street West Saturday at 3:03 a.m.

Gino Isaiah Avila of Havre, 24, was issued a summons on a charge of violation of child restraint during a vehicle stop at 10:11 a.m. Saturday at the mall parking lot.

Lara Shante Lawrence of Harlem, 23, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property and on four Justice or City Court warrants after a caller on Second Street asked Saturday at 11:11 p.m. for assistance having someone removed from the premises.

A possible water break reported on Fifth Street at 8:16 a.m. Sunday was referred to Havre Public Works.

--

A vehicle crash was reported Sunday at 2:48 p.m. on Third Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a Friday 4:35 p.m. report from a Sixth Street North caller of someone punching another person.

Laura Mayer of Havre, 33, was issued a summons on a charge of aggravated DUI after deputies were called at 3:07 a.m. Saturday to assist Havre police on First Street West.

Mary Ruth Demontiney of Great Falls, 59, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and trespass to property and on a Justice of City court warrant after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported a shoplifter at 7:28 p.m. Saturday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, four Saturday and two Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a fire alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West. The alarm, which was set off by smoke from cooking, was reset.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two female cats, four male cats, one female and three male 9-month-old kittens and two female 22-week-old kittens.

The shelter also held a female mixed breed dog, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross dog, a male 7-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 8-month-old mixed-breed puppy and a male 22-week-old shepherd puppy.
