Christmas mural displayed at Messiah Lutheran

The congregation of Messiah Lutheran on the south end of Fifth Avenue, have announced the installation of a vibrant Christmas mural for the community to enjoy.

The display started Dec. 12 and will continue to the New Year.

The mural by artist Paul Johnson was commissioned for the 2013 Concordia College Christmas Concert and is based on the theme “Before the Marvel of this Night.” The artwork features bold images of the nativity, angels and a ‘pandemic’ proclamation.

The community is encouraged to view the mural from the comfort of their vehicle while listening to Christmas Music on FM 103.3.
