Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 9:17 a.m. to report a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation for failing to sign up for the program.

Stacie Leigh Small of Box Elder, 19, was arrested on charges of trespass to property, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, resisting arrest and assault with bodily fluid and on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller on First Street Northeast reported a trespasser Thursday at 10:46 a.m.

A caller on Second Street Northeast asked Thursday at 12:13 p.m. for officer assistance with a domestic disturbance.

Officers investigated a 12:51 p.m. Thursday report that a 2002 maroon Dodge Caravan had been taken around 10 a.m. while the vehicle was left running to warm it up.

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 5:11 p.m. to report a scam call during which the call recipient's important information was given to the scammer.

An arrest was mad on First Street during a 5:39 p.m. vehicle stop, but no details on the charges was provided.

A caller at a First Street business reported at 6:04 p.m. Thursday that someone had stolen several items from the business.

David Richard Place of Rudyard, 52, was arrested on charges of tail light violation, no vehicle insurance, driving under the influence, open alcohol container violation, driving with an expired registration and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license during a vehicle stop on First Street West at 7:15 p.m. Thursday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were called Thursday at 9:40 a.m. to assist someone on 748 Sixth Street North.

Jasmin Shay Demontiney of Box Elder, 24, was arrested on charges of shoplifting and trespass to property after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business asked for assistance at 11:54 a.m. Thursday.

Tyrel Henry Bear of Havre, 34, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a Justice or City court warrant during a vehicle stop at 12:24 a.m. today.

Emergency medical personnel responded to five calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, three female cats, one male and four female 6-month-old kittens, five male cats, two male 8-month-old kittens, one female 24-week-old kitten, one female 10-month-old kitten and one female 26-week-old kitten.

The shelter also held a 6-week-old German shepherd puppy, a female mixed breed dog, a male 8-month-old German shepherd puppy, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross dog, a male 7-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Chihuahua dog and a male 24-week-old shepherd puppy.
