Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a Wednesday 9:45 report at the police station of the theft of sobriety compliance equipment.

A caller on Saddle Butte Drive reported at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday that a person took the caller's vehicle.

A dog bite was reported by hospital staff Wednesday at 7:46 p.m.

Raymond Windyboy of Box Elder, 58, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a Third Avenue establishment reported an intoxicated man sleeping outside at 10:11 p.m. Wednesday.

Trinity Joe Leeds of Havre, 23, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a Sixth Avenue caller reported a woman was banging on the caller's door Wednesday at 11:39 p.m.

Someone stopped at the police station at 12:33 a.m. today and asked to speak with an officer.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a Wednesday 8:24 p.m. report of an assault at a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

An arrest was made after a deputy investigated suspicious activity in Box Elder at 11:22 p.m. Wednesday. No details on the charges were provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Wednesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, three female cats, one male and four female 6-month-old kittens, five male cats, one male 8-month-old kitten and one female 10-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male Staffordshire bull terrier dog, a male 8-month-old German shepherd puppy, two male 7-month-old shepherd puppies, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross dog, a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female shepherd dog, a female Chihuahua dog and a male 25-week-old shepherd puppy.
