Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Thursday at 10:31 a.m. to talk with an officer about a possibly stolen firearm.

Officers were called to the hospital Thursday at 11:09 a.m. to assist Rocky Boy Police Department.

Officers investigated a vehicle crash reported Thursday at 3:12 p.m. from the parking lot of a First Street West business where a Nissan Frontier rear ended a Ford F-150 but the driver of the car wouldn't give out insurance information.

A Third Street caller asked Thursday at 4:26 p.m. to speak with an officer about a stolen cellphone.

A Grant Avenue caller asked Thursday at 7:26 p.m. to speak with an officer about the theft of a package.

--

A caller reported Friday at 12:22 a.m. that a First Street West establishment was still open.

Joshua David Rainingbird of Havre, 38, was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants and on charges of resisting arrest, possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers were notified of a person with warrants at a First Street West business Friday at 11:02 a.m.

Officers performed a building check on a First Street West establishment Friday at 10:08 p.m.

A Saturday 1:27 p.m. call about a lot of water running down the Third Street was referred to Havre Public Works.

An arrest was made after a caller at Third Street and 14th Avenue reported Saturday at 5:41 p.m. that a brindle pit bull kept jumping its fence and chasing down people. No details on the arrest were provided.

Officers performed a building check on a First Street West establishment Saturday at 10:03 p.m.

An 11th Street caller reported a theft Saturday at 10:49 p.m.

Russell James Houle Jr. of Havre, 40, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and disorderly conduct and Jevie Jean Doney of Havre, 28, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a First Street West business reported a man and woman fighting Sunday at 6:05 a.m.

Leah Marie Goggles of Havre, 37, was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and theft during a vehicle stop on Fifth Avenue West Sunday at 1:25 p.m. The vehicle stop was prompted by a caller at a First Street West business asking at 12:50 p.m. for assistance getting car keys back. The keys were then located at a First Street Northeast residence.

A summons was issued after animal control was called about a vicious dog on 14th Avenue Sunday at 5:58 p.m., but no details about the charges were provided.

Jordan Miles Hobson of Havre, 28, was arrested on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a caller on Second Street asked Sunday at 11:59 p.m. for assistance removing an intoxicated man from a residence.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were asked Thursday at 11:10 a.m. to provide assistance at a U.S. Highway 2 East business.

Kale Wayne Price of Beckwourth, California, 23, was arrested on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence after a deputy investigated suspicious activity on Second Street West Friday at 9:47 p.m.

Christopher John Brandt of Havre, 32, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after a Rocky Boy Police officer asked Saturday at 11:11 p.m. for assistance with suspicious activity on U.S. Highway 87.

An arrest was made at Hill County Detention Center Sunday at 7:29 a.m. after someone in booking reported a drug offense. No details on the charges were provided.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday, two calls Friday, five calls Saturday and three calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded with an ambulance to the 1000 Block of Second Street West Friday at 9:57 p.m. to assist with extracting a man from a vehicle.

--

Firefighters responded to a 3:20 p.m. Saturday report that smoke could be smelled at a multi-family dwelling on the 10 Block of Third Street West. The smell came from food that had been burned in a microwave oven.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats of unknown gender, three female cats, one male and four female 6-month-old kittens, five male cats, one male 8-month-old kitten and one female 10-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held a male Staffordshire bull terrier dog, a female 7-month-old Labrador retriever-border collie puppy, a male 8-month-old German shepherd puppy, two male 7-month-old shepherd puppies, a male 6-week-old Rottweiler-border collie puppy, a male Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross dog, a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female shepherd dog, a female Chihuahua dog and a male 25-week-old shepherd puppy.

Births

A girl was born Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020, to Jasmine Puga of Box Elder.
