Obituary - Alan Lee Childs

Alan Lee Childs, 77, born August 11, 1943, died of natural causes November 19, 2020.

Alan grew up in Libby, MT, with his parents Dorothy Gibson and Lee Childs. After high school, he joined the U.S. Navy and became a diver and an engineman.

In 1968, he moved to Havre and was married to Patricia Woronik for 12 years. He worked at Rocky Moutnain Packing and BNSF. Alan moved to Condon, MT, in 1983, where he owned and operated a post and pole business for the remainder of his days.

He is survived by his daughter, Angela Childs of Havre, grandsons, Sid, Gavin and Burke, stepdaughter, Tiffany Olsen of Havre, stepson, Gerald Wood of Portland, OR, and his sister Kathy Powell of Libby.

A memorial will be held at a later date.
