Havre Police Department

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of shoplifting and underage tobacco possession or consumption after a caller at a First Street business reported Thursday at 7:04 p.m. that someone had stolen some merchandise.

Cherie Shalee Alexander of Box Elder, 33, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and on a Justice or City court warrant after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 West business asked at 3:49 a.m. today for assistance removing a woman from the premises.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Cindy Rae Gatzmeier of Havre, 41, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence during a vehicle stop at Grant Avenue and 11th Street West at 11:53 p.m. Thursday.

Cherie Shalee Alexander of Box Elder, 33, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia at Hill County Detention Center today at 4:10 a.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, one female cat, three female 6-month-old kittens, one male 8-month-old kitten and three male cats.

The shelter also held a male 26-week old mixed breed dog, a male 8-week-old Rottweiler-border collie puppy, a male Australian cattle-blue heeler dog, a male 8-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female shepherd dog and a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy.
