Lights set to make home debut next Wednesday night

Short and the Lights made their season debut last month in Nebraska, and now they're getting ready for a home dual when the host arch rival Providence next Wednesday night in the Armory Gymnasium. The Lights, of veteran head coach Tyson Thivierge, updated their schedule this past week.

The Montana State University-Northern Lights will make their home debut on the wrestling mat next Wednesday night, against arch rival Providence.

Northern recently added several meets to its "fluid" 2021 schedule, including next Wednesday night's dual against the Argos. The Lights will also travel to a dual meet in Sioux City, Iowa, Jan. 13 and to Dickinson State Jan. 23, according to the schedule. Northern opened its season at the Concordia College Duals in Nebraska last month, where they went 4-0.
