Havre Police Department

Power lines were reported down and debris in the streets on the north end of Fifth Avenue at 12:22 p.m.

Officers made three arrests during a vehicle stop on First Street Wednesday at 12:50 p.m. No details on the charges were provided in the dispatch log, but three people named as involved parties were listed in this morning's jail roster. Ma'taveon Makei Scott was being held on charges of obstruction of a peace officer or other public servant and possession of dangerous drugs. Chantel Marie Azure was being held on a charge of conspiracy to distribute dangerous drugs. Rembrandt Carlos Kemp was being held on violation of conditions of release on a warrant out of Minnesota.

Officers responded, along with NorthWestern Energy, to a 1:48 p.m. Wednesday report that a tree fell on power lines on First Street.

An arrest was made after a Fifth Street caller asked Wednesday at 1:59 p.m. to speak with an officer about an issue with one of the caller's family members. No details on the charges were provided.

A caller on Fifth Avenue reported a vehicle crash at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday.

A Havre area caller asked Wednesday at 3:52 p.m. to speak with an officer about the caller's children.

Alcohol was reported stolen at a First Street business this morning at 12:11.

Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle at Patterson Park on 11th Avenue at 2:52 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

NorthWestern Energy called Wednesday at 3:58 p.m. for traffic control assistance on Ninth Street West where power poles attached to a transformer had fallen across the road.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday, including one in response to a fire reported on Page 1 in today's paper.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held one cat of unknown gender, one female cat, one male 9-month-old kitten, three male cats, two female 7-month-old kittens and one female 6-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held three female mixed-breed dogs, a male 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 8-month-old shepherd puppy, a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female shepherd dog and a male 6-month-old shepherd puppy.
