Pony swimmers compete in first virtual meet, honor seniors

The Havre High swim teams started the season with two normal meets inside the Havre Community Pool. But, at some point, the Blue Ponies also knew they were going to enter something new, and unique to 2021, a virtual meet.

That meet came Friday night when the Ponies swam in their pool, but against Great Falls High and CMR, who swam their portion of the meet in Great Falls. At the end, the scores and times were tallied up, and a computer spit out the results. Yes, these are the days of competing in sports in a global pandemic.

Still, swimming is swimming, and the Ponies did that Friday nigh...
