North Star speech and drama team headed to state

The North Star Speech and Drama Team is going to state Thursday through Saturday.

Last Saturday, the Class BC Northern Divisional Meet was held virtually by Chester-Joplin-Inverness High School, and all five North Star participants are headed to state, hosted by Huntley Project. 

In drama, the dramatic duo acting of Choral Wicks and Kaden Frickel placed fourth. 

In speech, Garret Pedersen placed second in impromptu speaking, Collin Welch took second in humorous oral interpretation of literature and Emily Conner took second in spontaneous oral interpretation of literatu...
