Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Randy Tommerup, Havre High Wrestling

The Havre High wrestling team was perfect at home this past weekend. And so were many Pony individuals, including junior Randy Tommerup. Tommerup won all four of his matches by pin, wrestling once at 205 pounds and three times at 182. He also beat ranked wrestlers from Corvallis and Ronan in helping the Blue Ponies to four wins. Tommerup also plays football and tennis at Havre High.

Hallie Neibauer, Chinook Girls Basketball

Chinook girls basketball has a young team this season, and one of those youngsters, freshman Hallie Neibauer, is having a big winter thus far. Two weeks ago, Neibauer scored 23 points, and in a pair of games this past weekend Neibauer averaged 15 points per night for the Sugarbeeters, who lost tough games to North Star and Fort Benton. Against the Knights, Neibauer, who also plays volleyball at Chinook, scored 17 points.
