Senior Cain Cole just missed qualifying for the final round in memorized public address. Cole ended up in ninth place in MPA.

Freshman Martin Fulbright qualified for semi-finals but did not break into finals.  Fulbright finished in 11th place in informative speaking.

As a team, the CJI Hawks placed outside of the top three.  The Class C champion in speech was Gardiner who just nipped Harlowton for the title.

The Class B Speech Champion was Three Forks.  The Class B Drama Champion was Broadwater County High School in Townsend) and the Class C Drama Champion was West Yellowstone.

The CJI Hawks will compete at one last meet before wrapping up their 2020-2021.  Seniors Emma Wickum and Cain Cole will compete online at the National Speech and Debate Association’s Eastern Montana District Qualifier Tournament Feb, 12-13 for the opportunity to qualify for the NSDA online national tournament.
