After an exciting first weekend of volleyball, the Montana State University-Northern Skylights remembered how tough road matches are in the Frontier Conference.

Friday night, the Skylights fell at Montana Tech, by scores of 27-25, 25-14 and 25-13. The first set was a tight one, but Tech roiled from there. Rylee Burmester led Northern with 13 kills and six digs, while Katie Murdock had 10 digs and Emily Feller tallied 19 assists.
