Havre Police Department

A Third Street caller reported a missing person at 12:09 p.m. Monday.

Mail was reported opened and some missing on Lincoln Avenue Monday at 1:01 p.m.

--

Monday at 4:21 p.m., a caller on First Avenue reported a vehicle was stolen.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Sheriff's office dispatch log reported no arrests, summonses or investigations in the 24-hour reporting period.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday.

Firefighters responded to an 11:40 a.m. call to the 10 Block of Third Street for what smelled like a gas leak, but it turned out to be a sewer smell.

Firefighters called to a fire on the 1200 Block of Washington Avenue at 10:36 p.m. found a box and a chair smoldering in a backyard, caused by hot ashes cleaned from a pellet stove and set out on the concrete patio in the box.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats, two 2-week-old kittens and one 5-day-old kitten all of unknown gender, two male cats and four female cats.

The shelter also held a male Staffordshire bull terrier dog, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 7-month-old shepherd puppy and a female mixed-breed dog.
