Kenneth "Kenny" Francis Bachini died February 22nd, 2021, at the age of 73 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, MT.

A private family memorial service was held at St. Jude's Catholic Church February 26th, 2021, with Deacon Tim Maroney officiating. Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will be held at a later date.

Kenny was born in Havre, MT, September 20th, 1947; he was the first child to his parents, Frank and Marian (Niemi) Bachini. Kenny graduated from Havre High School in 1965; from there he attended Northern Montana College. In 1967, Kenny married the love of his life, Cathy, and enlisted into the U.S. Navy. He was stationed in San Diego, CA and worked as an electrician's mate on the submarine U.S.S. Segundo. In 1970, he was honorably discharged. They moved back to Havre, MT, where he began his career with BNSF as a railroad engineer for 32 years.

Kenny and Cathy were married 54 wonderful years; he was a devoted husband and best friend. They were blessed with three children, Michael, Steven, and Keri. The couple loved traveling and were able to spend the majority of their anniversaries together in Hawaii.

Kenny enjoyed outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, and skiing. He also enjoyed "the art of the trade" and was always looking for a good deal. He continually collected both knowledge and projects for a later date. Kenny had a great relationship with his brothers, James and Alan. They were a trio that could tackle any and all projects together. His greatest enjoyments were family gatherings and socializing with friends.

Kenny spent his retirement passing along his knowledge and skills and stories to his grandchildren. He took joy in watching them play sports and taking them fishing. He was always just a call away to lend his advice and help troubleshoot any problems.

Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marian (Niemi) Bachini; his brother Alan J. Bachini; his grandson Skylar Kiefer.

Kenny is survived by his wife, Cathy; his children, Michael, Steven (Melinda), Keri (Stephen) Potter; his brother James Bachini; his aunt Joan (John) Bachini; his grandchildren Marrina, Mario, Marcus, India, Seth, Samantha, Shaelyn, Sidney, Shelby, Justice, Ashlee, Riley; and his great-grandson, Sawyer; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenny was truly a selfless and compassionate husband, father, brother, grandfather and more. He will forever be missed.
