State and local COVID-19 update, March 5, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 100,656 with 192 new cases, 1,736 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 67. The number of deaths was 1,379.

Blaine County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 3 new cases, 730 total, 10 active, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 3 new cases, 1,917 total, 23 active, 3 active hospitalizations, 40 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 2 new cases, 416 total, 9 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Liberty County reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, 1 active, 1 death.

Chouteau County reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 490 total, 2 active, 5 deaths.
