State and local COVID-19 update, March 9, 2021

Hill County reported another COVID-19-related death Monday.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 101,093 with 143 new cases, 1,468 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 58. The number of deaths was 1,385.

Blaine County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of 5 new cases, 699 total, 12 active, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of no new cases Sunday and Monday, 1,923 total, 19 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 41 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 3 new cases, 420 total, 9 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Phillips County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 505 total, 7 active, 14 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 490 total, none active, 5 deaths.
