State and local COVID-19 update, March 12, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after TODAY’s update was 101,556 with 132 new cases, 951 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 53. The number of deaths was 1,392.

Blaine County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 2 new cases, with 738 total, 11 active, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of no new cases, 1,924 total, 11 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 41 deaths.

Rocky Boy, reported Thursday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, a new COVID-19-related death, with a delayed reporting of the death. Hill County Health Department reported a COVID-19-related death Monday. Rocky Boy had no new cases, 794 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, total deaths not listed.

Fort Belknap, reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 2 new cases, 423 total, 8 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Phillips County Health Department reported Thursday evening 1 new case, 516 total, 14 active, 5 active hospitalizations, 15 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 486 total, none active, 5 deaths.
