State and local COVID-19 update, April 5, 2021

The state map was not updated by printing deadline this morning, the total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after Sunday’s update was 105,142 with 107 new cases, 1,060 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 38. The number of deaths was 1,466.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of no new cases, 752 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, 24 deaths. the department said it would not list case numbers unless they change.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening that with again no new cases and changes in data, it would not update information unless numbers change. It reported no new cases, 1,944 total, none active, 42 deaths.

Rocky Boy — reported Friday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, no new cases, 794 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, deaths not listed.

Fort Belknap, reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 1 new case with no new cases reported since, 430 total, 1 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Phillips County Health Department reported Saturday evening 2 new cases from Wennesday, 523 total, 2 active, 4 active hospitalizations although no longer considered contagious, 17 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 494 total, none active, 6 deaths.
