Perry receives Northern Montana Health Care "C.A.R.E." Award

Press release

Northern Montana Health Care presented the C.A.R.E. - Compassionately Achieving Remarkable Excellence - Award to Lindsay Perry, RMA, OT, a member of the Ortho Team at Northern Montana Specialty Medical Center last week.

Perry was nominated for this honor by her co-workers. "For over a month, Perry was the only permanently assigned member of the Orthopedic Nursing Staff," one of her nominators said. "Her exceptional leadership abilities allowed her to successfully take charge and expertly manage a very busy clinic with three providers under her care."

"Lindsay excels at all aspects of her work," added Dr. Michelle Cameron-Donaldson, orthopedic surgeon. "She ensures patients are prepared for surgery to include making pre and post op appointments, arranging for specialized equipment, and making rehab arrangements. But Lindsay's technical skills and her calm, caring attitude are essential in caring for all of our patients."

As part of the presentation of the C.A.R.E. Award, Perry was presented with a special logoed jacket.

The "C.A.R.E." Award was started as part of NMHC's Customer Service Group, "The High Five Club." The purpose of this bi-monthly recognition award is to acknowledge employees who have served at NMHC in an exceptional manner by exemplifying outstanding service through his or her work, and consistently exhibiting a positive and supportive attitude. Employees at NMHC nominate their fellow employees for this award.

Perry is the 23rd recipient of the award.

Customer service is important to Northern Montana Health Care. "Being the healthcare provider of choice" is part of its mission statement. Taking the time to recognize excellence in their employees is one of the ways they try to achieve this goal.
