Havre Schools lists candidates in school board election

Havre Public Schools has announced a mail-in election for three seats on the Havre School Board will be held Tuesday, May 4, with another seat filled by acclamation.

The high school election has been cancelled due to there being only one candidate for the position. Britnee’ Loch was the only candidate for the high school seat and was elected by by acclamation to fill the three-year trustee position.

Candidates to fill positions for two trustees serving a three-year term and one trustee serving a one-year term will be determined by mail-in ballot. 

The candidates for the two three-year positions are Michele Holden, Jacob R. Ingram, Jessica Kennedy-Stiffarm, Lorraine Larson and Erin Pulse.

The candidates for one position serving a one-year term as trustee are Brandon Berreth and Garrit Ophus.

The Elementary Levy portion of the election has been cancelled.
