State and local COVID-19 update, April 9, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 105,974 with 229 new cases, 1,069 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 38. The number of deaths was 1,521.

Blaine County Health Department reported March 30 being being notified of no new cases, 752 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, 24 deaths. The department said it would not list case numbers unless they change.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 1 new case that was reported to the department late Wednesday, the department listed 1,949 total cases, 5 active, 43 deaths.

Rocky Boy, reported last Friday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, no new cases, 794 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, deaths not listed. It previously reported it would not list numbers unless they change.

Fort Belknap, reported Thursday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, no new cases, 430 total, 1 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Phillips County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 521 total, 6 active, 16 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 2 new cases, 496 total, 2 active, 6 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .
