State and local COVID-19 update, April 23, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 107,873 with 158 new cases, 1,003 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 65. The number of deaths was 1,559.

Blaine County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 731 total, 2 active, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Thursday evening being notified of 2 new cases, 1,955 total, 6 active, 1 active hospitalization, 44 deaths.

Rocky Boy, reported April 2, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers — no new cases, 794 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, deaths not listed. It previously reported it would not list numbers unless they change.

Fort Belknap, reported Wednesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, no new cases, 430 total, none active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths. No update has been posted on the Fort Belknap Council Facebook page where the posts usually are made.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 489 total, 2 active, 6 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .
