Health Officer urges caution amid global surge of COVID-19

At the Hill County Board of Health’s bi-weekly COVID-19 update Hill County Public Health Director and Health Officer Kim Berg said prevention efforts against COVID-19 must continue amid a global rise in cases.

Berg said new cases in Hill County remain below 5 per day per 100,000 residents which is good, but precautions should still be taken given what is happening in the rest of the world.

She said Hill County has six active cases, one hospitalization and 21 people in quarantine being tracked by the health department.
