State and local COVID-19 update, April 29, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 108,663 with 179 new cases, 1,015 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 54. The number of deaths was 1,570.

Blaine County Health Department reported Wednesday evening being notified of 2 new cases, 729 total, 9 active, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Wednesday evening that no new cases were reported with 1,960 total, 8 active, 1 active hospitalizations, 44 deaths.

Rocky Boy Health Center has not reported any new data since April 2, having said previously it would not update numbers unless they change. April 2 it reported no new or active cases and no hospitalizations, 794 total cases with 788 recoveries. It has had 6 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Wednesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 3 new cases, 439 total, 9 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 499 total, 2 active, 6 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .
