State and local COVID-19 update, May 11, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 110,107 with 167 new cases, 1,028 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 69. The number of deaths was 1,593.

Blaine County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of 3 new cases Friday and 3 new cases Monday, 787 total, 15 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that 4 new cases were confirmed Saturday through Monday with 1,981 total, 5 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 44 deaths.

Rocky Boy has not reported any changes since April 2. At that time, the Rocky Boy Clinic reported 794 total cases with 788 recoveries. It has had 6 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, reported that through the weekend 2 new cases were confirmed with 455 total, 12 active, 1 active hospitalization, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 504 total, 2 active, 6 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .
