Havre Northstars sweep in their return to play

After a two-week hiatus, the Northstars American Legion baseball club finally returned to Legion Field Sunday to play a doubleheader against the Glasgow Reds and Helena Reps. The Northstars snapped their losing streak with a strong 12-3 victory over Glasgow and then hit a walkoff to defeat Helena, 7-6.

"I was really pleased with today after a long layoff," said Havre head coach Patch Wirtzberger. "The guys came out and they made a few mental mistakes to start the day but throughout the day, they kept their focus and they just did a really good job."
