State and local COVID-19 update, May 18, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 110,861 with 148 new cases, 974 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 63. The number of deaths was 1,602.

Blaine County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of 7 new cases Saturday through Monday with 759 total, 20 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that 3 new cases were confirmed Friday and 1 new case was reported Saturday through Monday with 1,989 total, 5 active, 1 active hospitalization, 44 deaths.

Rocky Boy has not reported any changes since April 2. At that time, the Rocky Boy Clinic reported 794 total cases with 788 recoveries. It has had 6 deaths.

Fort Belknap reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 8 new cases from Friday through Monday, 467 total, 14 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 507 total, 2 active, 6 deaths.
