The best track athletes from the District 9C represented the Hi-Line Wednesday at the Northern C Divisional track meet in Great Falls. With a spot in next week’s state meet on the line, many athletes showed out, especially the Fort Benton girls’ track team that divisional crown.

“The 9C teams, coaches and athletes performed at a high level at the divisional meet,” said North Star head coach Brian Campbell.

The meet was originally meant to take place over the course of Wednesday and Thursday but inclement weather forced the meet to only be held Wednesday. Even though the meet’s events were pushed closer together than originally planned, Campbell believes it did not affect his athletes.
