Havre Police Department

A caller with a Havre business reported Monday at 8 a.m. that an excavator had been stolen from First Street.

Alfred James Chandler of Havre, 62, was arrested on a charge of violation of a no-contact order, after an 11th Street West caller made a complaint about a violation Monday at 8:20 a.m.

Three summonses were issued after a caller at Havre High School reported juvenile status offenses Monday at 12:52 p.m.

--

Officers assisted with a medical call Monday at 3:35 p.m. on 10th Street West.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 4:47 p.m. to report harassment.

Colette Cecelia La Pointe of Fargo, North Dakota, 65, was arrested on a charge of criminal trespass to property after a caller at 12:27 a.m. today that a woman was trespassing and smoking.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported on U.S. Highway 87 Monday at 10:04 a.m.

Someone stopped at the sheriff's office Monday at 8:08 p.m. to report a theft, forgery or fraud.

Two arrests were made while deputies were assisting another agency in the Box Elder area at 1:20 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday and one with a fire crew early this morning.

Firefighters and an ambulance crew responded to a wreck on U.S. Highway 2 East near mile marker 284 at 1:56 a.m. today. Fire Chief Mel Paulson said the vehicle had damage to the front end and two patients in the vehicle required assessment and treatment on scene.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held five 11-week-old kittens, four 9-week-old kittens, two 7-week-old kittens, one cat and a 12-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, eight female cats and three male cats.

The shelter also held a male 11-week-old Australian cattle dog-blue heeler cross puppy, a male St. Bernard-mix dog, two female mixed-breed dogs, a male and a female 9-month-old puppies and a female 11-week-old mixed-breed puppy. Two 11-week-old Australian cattle dog-blue heeler-husky mix puppies, one female and one male, are being held separately.
