State and local COVID-19 update, May 27, 2021

Another COVID-19-related death occurred in Hill County, Hill County Health Department reported Wednesday. That is the county's 45th COVID-19-related death. The health department reported 3 new cases, 1,997 total, 5 active, 1 active hospitalization.

Rocky Boy Health Center, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, reported a new COVID-19-related death Wednesday. It reported current case numbers were at zero but stated people needed to continue to follow safety measures and get vaccinated. It reported April 2 794 total cases with 788 recoveries. At that point it had 6 deaths.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 209 total, 1 active, 6 deaths.

Blaine County Health Department reported Wednesday evening being notified of 4 new cases, 816 total, 13 active, 3 active hospitalizations, 24 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported Wednesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 3 new cases, 479 total, 13 active, 1 active hospitalization, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today's update was 111,623 with 129 new cases, 817 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 66. The number of deaths was 1,610.
