From Havre Middle School

Havre Middle School's Sixth Grade Student of the Month for April is Kelly Awtrey.

Kelly is the daughter of Adam and Teresa Awtrey. She has two brothers, Hunter and Justin Awtrey.

Kelly participates in choir, Spotlighters and track. Outside of school, she is very involved with her church and spends quality time with family. In her free time, she loves making crafts, reading and enjoys music.

In the classroom, Kelly exceeds expectations and always works to her fullest potential. She is very helpful and supportive of her classmates when they are in need of assistance. Her personality lights up the middle school and makes it a wonderful place for everyone.

In the future, Kelly plans to attend college and pursue a career working with animals.

April's Seventh-Grade Student of the Month at HMS is Liliana Smith.

Liliana is the daughter of Greg and Michelle Smith. She has two siblings, Karston and Rayalyn Smith.

At the school, Liliana plays the alto saxophone for the middle school band and participates in golf.

Outside of school, Liliana is involved in girl scouts, dance, softball and swim team. In her spare time, Liliana enjoys cooking and camping with her family.

Liliana is an extremely respectable and kind-hearted student who exceeds all expectations. Her positive outlook is appreciated by everyone around her.

Liliana's dedication to school models what "Pony Pride" looks like at the Middle School.

Liliana is unsure about what the future holds but the possibilities are endless for such a delightful young girl.

Hailey Gingery is HMS's Eighth-Grade Student of the Month for April.

Hailey's parents are Phil and ShaLee Gingery. She has three siblings, Hannah, Harper and Huxlee Gingery.

At Havre Middle School, Hailey participates in cross country, track and volleyball. In addition to school, Hailey is involved in city league softball. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and hanging out with her friends.

Teachers comment on Hailey's upbeat positive attitude. She also has a strong work ethic and displays tremendous leadership skills. These qualities make her a role model for other students to follow and sets the standard for what a HMS student should strive to become.

Hailey's future plans are uncertain, however, she plans on excelling at whatever she chooses to become.
