Havre High boys win Class A state tennis championship

The Havre Blue Ponies captured their first Class A state championship since 2005 when they won the 2021 state title Friday evening in Billings. Behind a second-place effort from Josh Currie in singles and a third-place showing by Josh Warp and Trenton Maloughney in doubles the Ponies scored 23 points to edge Whitefish. Caleb Spangler and Theron Peterson also competed for the Ponies in Billings who have now won seven Class A titles overall in boys tennis.
