State and local COVID-19 update, June 2, 2021

Chouteau County Health Department reported Tuesday another COVID-19-related death.

The department reported it was a person not older than 40 who died very quickly from COVID-related pneumonia, and urged people who have not done so yet to get vaccinated. The state tracking map this morning reported no new cases, 510 total, none active, 7 deaths in Chouteau County.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 6 new cases through the holiday weekend, with 824 total, 12 active, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Tuesday evening that 6 new cases were reported Saturday through Monday with 2,003 total, 7 active, 1 active hospitalization, 45 deaths.

Rocky Boy has not reported any changes since April 2. At that time, the Rocky Boy Clinic reported 794 total cases with 788 recoveries. It has had 7 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, that 5 new cases were reported through the holiday weekend with 486 total, 12 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 117 total, none active, 1 death.
