Havre Police Department

A two-vehicle crash was reported at 10:11 a.m. on Third Avenue.

Nathaniel Sean Grey Bear of Poplar, 29, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business reported a shoplifter Friday at 3:43 p.m. and officers investigated suspicious activity on First Street at 6:08 p.m.

A Second Street caller reported Friday at 3:52 p.m. that two handguns, a 9mm and a 45mm, had been stolen.

--

A Friday 6:38 p.m. caller on Third Street reported a hit and run crash.

David Taylor Eagleman of Havre, 61, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller at a First Street business reported a man passed out behind a building Friday at 7:09 p.m.

Friday at 9:04 p.m., a Jefferson Avenue caller reported a window pane had a hole in it.

Erin Louise Loughton of Havre, 43, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after officers responded to a Saturday 12:16 a.m. report of a two-vehicle crash on First Street.

Maurice Ray Piper of Busbie, 39, was arrested on a state District Court warrant after officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 10:03 a.m. Saturday.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle crash reported on First Street West Saturday at 10:22 a.m.

Nicole Lynn Messerly of Havre, 28, was issued a summons on a charge listed in the dispatch log as "other" after a caller on Second Street reported a German shepherd was chasing people Saturday at 11:28 a.m.

Jacob James Lamere of Box Elder, 19, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants, and Nichole Marie Swan of Havre, 36, was arrested on a Justice or City warrant after a caller on Ninth Avenue reported Saturday at 12:15 p.m. finding the vehicle that hit the caller's vehicle Friday.

Officers were asked Saturday at 12:35 p.m. to make a well-being check on someone on Third Street.

A hit-and-run crash was reported on First Avenue Saturday at 2:05 p.m.

A 16-year-old Big Sandy girl was issued a summons on charges of driving under the influence, failing to yield right of way, minor in possession and violation of restrictions on driver's license and a 14-year-old Big Sandy girl was issued a summons on charges of minor in possession after a vehicle stop on Sixth Street at 9:12 p.m. Saturday.

A Grant Avenue caller reported Saturday at 11:08 p.m. that medications had been stolen.

Beer was reported stolen from a First Street business Sunday at 2:59 a.m.

Gary Don Story of Havre, 32, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and assault and Angel Gilead of Havre, 19, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, endangering the welfare of children, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, resisting arrest and MIP after a caller reported an argument on 10th Avenue Sunday at 3:12 a.m.

An arrest was made after a caller at a First Street business reported Sunday at 4:45 a.m. that a man kept coming into the building. No details on the charges were provided.

Jeremie Daniel Brandon of Havre, 44, was issued a summons on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, after a drug offense was reported Sunday at 8:54 a.m. on First Street Northeast.

A caller at a First Street establishment reported Sunday at 11:59 a.m. that a light blue purse had been stolen.

--

A bicycle was reported found at the skate park Sunday at 6 p.m.

--

James Murel Goldsmith Jr. of Harlem, 28, was arrested on charges of trespass to property and disorderly conduct after a Fourth Street caller reported a drunk man on the caller's back porch Sunday at 9:58 p.m.

A caller at a First Street West business reported Sunday at 10:39 p.m. that someone had crashed into his red Dodge pickup truck.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Natasha Rose Lohman of Havre, 30, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served on 11th Street North Friday at 11:52 a.m.

Katrina Rae Longknife of Great Falls, 31, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after callers asked Friday at 8:14 p.m. for a well-being check on a woman on U.S. Highway 2 Northeast.

Tayla Wren Overlie of Havre, 32, was arrested on charges of DUI and driving without vehicle insurance, first offense, after a caller reported a complaint from U.S. Highway 87 Friday at 8:58 p.m.

--

Deputies were called Friday at 11:51 p.m. to investigate a disturbance at a Box Elder establishment.

Justine Philomene Bauer of Havre, 30, was issued a summons on a charge of violation of a no contact order after a 14th Street Northeast caller made a complaint at 6:23 a.m. Saturday.

--

An arrest was made after a Ninth Street East caller reported that a family member was breaking things in a home and "acting crazy" Sunday at 5:29 p.m. and deputies responded to an open 911 call from the same location at 2:38 a.m. today. Details were not available in the dispatch log.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, five calls Saturday and five calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded to an 11:53 a.m. Friday report of a gas leak on the 1200 Block of Boulevard Avenue, but no leak was detected.

--

Firefighters responded to a report of smoke coming from an electric sign on the 1700 Block of U.S. Highway 2 Northeast Saturday at 4:43 a.m. The power was shut off to the sign and the fire put out with extinguishers.

--

A grass fire was reported Saturday at 12:16 p.m., started by a downed power line on the 500 block of Fifth Street North. The small fire was out by the time firefighters arrived and the stood by until NorthWestern Energy crews arrived.

--

Firefighters responded to a Saturday 7:01 p.m. report of a gas odor on the 900 Block of Ninth Avenue, but no gas was detected. A NorthWestern Energy crew continued testing at the scene.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two 9-week-old kittens of unknown gender, six female cats and three male cats.

The shelter also held a male St. Bernard-mix dog, a female mixed-breed dog, and a male and a female 9-month-old mixed-breed puppies.
