State and local COVID-19 update, June 8, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 112,518 with 147 new cases, 630 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 61. The number of deaths was 1,634.

Blaine County Health Department reported Monday evening being notified of 1 new case, 831 total, 9 active, 1 active hospitalization, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that 1 new cases was reported from Saturday through Monday with 2,018 total, 17 active, 4 active hospitalizations, 45 deaths.

Rocky Boy, reported Monday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 1 new case, 788 total, 2 active, no active hospitalizations. It has had 7 deaths.

Fort Belknap, last reported Friday evening with no update since, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 492 total, 9 active, no active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 118 total, 1 active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 516 total, 4 active, 7 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .
