State and local COVID-19 update, June 9, 2021

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org, operated by Boston’s Children’s Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today’s update was 112,591 with 75 new cases, 630 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 60. The number of deaths was 1,636.

Blaine County Health Department reported Tuesday evening being notified of 3 new cases, 834 total, 24 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Tuesday evening that 2 new cases were reported with 2,020 total, 18 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 45 deaths.

Rocky Boy last updated Tuesday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 788 total, 2 active, no active hospitalizations. It has had 7 deaths. Its health department has said numbers will not be reported if no change occurs.

Fort Belknap, reported Tuesday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, 4 new cases, 496 total, 8 active, 2 active hospitalizations, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 1 new case, 119 total, 2 active, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 516 total, 5 active, 7 deaths.

People can visit the state tracking map, normally updated between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, online through links at https://montana.maps.arcgis.com and at https://covid19.mt.gov .
