Havre Police Department

A 12-year-old Havre boy was issued a summons on charges of trespass to proptery and vandalism, after a caller on Third Avenue reported a theft of a security camera Friday at 2:14 p.m.

A Friday 4:54 p.m. caller at a First Street business reported theft of items.

--

A summons was issued after a First Avenue caller reported an erratic driver Friday at 6:20 p.m., but no details were provided on the charges.

--

Officers issued a verbal or written warning after a caller on Smithville Road reported at 10:27 p.m. Friday their pickup truck was shot with a pellet gun.

--

Two 16-year-old Havre boys were issued summonses, each on a charge of trespass to property and negligent arson after a caller reported at 10:56 p.m. Friday that people were in an abandoned building on 11th Street West.

A 15-year-old girl was issued a summons on a charge of minor in possession after a caller at 13th Street West and Boulevard Avenue reported Friday at 11:56 p.m. a girl was walking down the street crying.

Officers were called about a Saturday 1:52 a.m. report that a driver hit someone.

--

Ariel Rae Secora of Havre, 28, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence, after a Second Street caller reported suspicious activity at 1:52 a.m. Saturday.

--

A Second Street caller reported finding a wallet at 7:07 a.m. Saturday.

--

Officers investigated an 8:35 a.m. Saturday report that a vehicle was side swiped in a parking lot at a First Street business.

--

A First Street West caller reported Saturday at 6:23 p.m. on First Street West that a combine on the road was dragging a chain that was creating sparks.

--

Officers assisted another agency with a pursuit at Fifth Avenue Sunday at 1:57 a.m.

--

A 12:55 p.m. Sunday caller reported that a vehicle had been backed into during the night at a First Street business.

--

A Third Street caller asked Sunday at 2:22 p.m. to speak with officers about a family member's ex-partner.

--

Lana Standing Chief of Havre, 40, was issued a summons on a criminal contempt charge related to an 8:03 a.m. Monday 24/7 Sobriety program no show.

--

A Washington Avenue caller reported a temporary restraining order violation Monday at 2:04 p.m.

--

A caller at the Havre Animal Shelter reported Monday at 3:24 p.m. that someone was bitten by a cat.

--

Someone stopped at the police station Monday at 6:10 p.m. to report that they had sent money to someone to buy a dog, but thinks now that it might be a scam.

--

Officers assisted someone who stopped at the police station Monday at 7:55 p.m. asking to speak with an officer.

--

A caller on First Street West reported a two-vehicle crash between a Malibu and a pickup truck Monday at 10:23 p.m.

--

Officers investigated an 11:31 p.m. Wednesday report of a fire behind a building on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest.

--

Officers dealt with fireworks complaints and assisted with fires from 11:12 a.m. Friday through 1:03 a.m. this morning.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud reported Friday at 11:30 a.m. at a Second Street West business.

Deputies were called Friday at 3:59 p.m. to Kiehn's Bay on Fresno Reservoir by a caller stating that someone was firing shots at campers. The caller asked at 5:09 p.m. for extra patrols in the area.

--

Deputies initiated an animal control investigation at the hospital Saturday at 2:41 p.m.

--

A loose bull was reported along Beaver Creek Road Saturday at 8:11 p.m.

--

Jacob Logan James Folk of Havre, 31, was arrested on charges of permitting unauthorized minor to drive, failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance, endangering the welfare of children and violation of conditions of release after a vehicle stop on Fifth Street Saturday at 8:38 p.m.

A Sunday 4:35 p.m. report of cows on private property on St. Joe road was referred to another agency.

--

Theresa Marie Burgess of Havre, 59, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge, after a caller at a Box Elder establishment asked for assistance Sunday at 7:23 p.m.

--

Deputies investigated a complaint reported at Hill County Detention Center Sunday at 9:40 p.m.

--

Deputies assisted at a fire at the Havre Animal Shelter on Second Street Sunday at 10:15 p.m.

--

A 12:21 a.m. Monday call reporting a blue and white boat floating on Fresno Reservoir unattended was referred to another agency.

--

Deputies investigated suspicious activity reported Monday at 2:30 a.m. at the garbage bin in Box Elder.

--

A caller requested assistance at Kiehn's Bay Monday at 2:41 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Saturday, three Sunday, one Monday and one early this morning. Friday's call log had not been sent by print deadline today.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 2-week-old kittens and three cats all of unknown gender, three female cats and seven male cats. An 8-week-old kitten and a 9-week-old kitten both of unknown gender were being held separately.

The shelter also held a female 11-month-old mixed breed puppy, two male and a female mixed-breed dogs, a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, an female 8-month-old mixed breed, a male and a female 10-month-old mixed-breed puppies, a female 3-month-old mixed breed puppy. a 6-month-old mixed-breed dog of unknown gender and a Chihuahua-Yorkshire Terrier cross dog.

Births

A boy was born Friday, July 2, 2021, to Sapphire Carter and Jessie Big Knife of Rocky Boy.
