Frontier Conference safely completed more than 90 percent of all scheduled games in 2020-21
The Montana State University-Northern Lights and Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears play a spring football game in front of an empty Lights Stadium back in April. A revised 2020 football season was moved to the spring of 2021 and fans were not allowed at any Frontier Conference sporting event because of the ongoing conronavirus pandemic in 2020-21. However, that should change soon, according to longtime Frontier Commissioner Kent Paulson, who said he's excited to see the fans back as fall sports return next month.
Like almost everything that happened in the past year as it relates to COVID-19, planning, and playing out Frontier Conference sports was unlike anything longtime commissioner Kent Paulson had ever seen.
And yet, as the league prepares to return to a new normal with fall sports on the horizon, Paulson couldn't have been more proud of how everyone in the conference has handled the pandemic to date.
