Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument to host Family Explorer Day

Clouds hang over the Upper Missouri River Breaks Monument Interpretive Center. Registered participants will meet at the center at 701 Seventh Street in Fort Benton July 29 to start Family Explorer Day activities.

FORT BENTON - People looking for some outdoor family fun are invited to join U.S. Bureau of Land Management park rangers during Family Explorer Day at Upper Missouri River Breaks National Monument Thursday, July 29.  

Family Explorer Day offers free, two-hour outdoor activity programs, weather permitting, starting at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. 

Participating families with children of all ages are encouraged to bring active imaginations and be ready for fun as rangers lead short activities and games highlighting the unique plants and animals found within...
