Havre Police Department

Someone stopped at the police station Friday at 8:50 a.m. and asked to speak with an officer about a complaint.

A Friday 10:19 a.m. caller on Fourth Street reported that a camper was hit during the night.

A caller at a Third Avenue store reported that the business had been broken into during the night.

Friday at 5:26 p.m. a summons was issued for a violation at a Second Street business, but no information was provided on the charges.

Officers were asked at 5:33 p.m. Friday to perform a well-being check on Third Street.

Memoree Rose Sunchild of Box Elder, 34, was arrested on charges of theft, trespass to property and disorderly conduct after a caller on 12th Street reported an intoxicated female, who was not supposed to be on the property, was outside screaming Friday at 10:37 p.m., and a caller at 10:45 p.m. of Seventh Avenue reported hearing yelling and saw a woman on a bike try to get into the caller's car and then leave the scene northbound.

Officers investigated a call from a First Street business Saturday at 12:44 p.m. about potential dug use.

Deputies investigated a complaint made at Kremlin School Sunday at 7:45 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Friday, two calls Saturday, two calls Sunday and one early this morning.

Firefighters responded to a 12:23 p.m. Sunday fire call on the 1800 Block of 31st Avenue Northeast where a hot wheel bearing caught some grain on fire in a small space, but the fire had been put out with a fire extinguisher prior to the crew's arrival. There was no damage and no one was injured in the incident.

Firefighters responded to a grass fire call on Second Street West at 3:56 p.m. Sunday. A spark created from metal being cut ignited the grass, but people on scene were able to put the fire out right away by smothering it with dirt before the fire spread.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 5-week-old kittens, one cat and one 7-week-old kitten all of unknown gender, six female cats and four male cats. A male 11-week-old kitten and a male 12-week-old kitten were being held separately.

The shelter also held a male 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male and a female 11-month-old mixed-breed puppies, and a female 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy.
