Patrick was born October 26, 1993, in Havre, Montana, to LeiLoni Croasdell and Ryan Maroney. He was the firstborn son; his mother always told him he was made for her arms and that she cried out of happiness the day he was born.

Patrick was a beautiful young boy who lit up everyone's lives with his contagious smile. His family learned early on that Patrick had a unique talent for music. He was a self-taught musician who enjoyed playing guitar, piano, banjo, ukulele and harmonica and also singing.  He was a social young man who could make friends wherever he was. He had a large heart, a contagious smile and a giving personality.

He moved with his mother, sister and brothers to many places and had a great perspective on life. He lived in Havre, Montana; Anchorage, Kasilof, and Soldotna, Alaska; Folsom, California, and Rochester, Washington. He was a great role model for his younger brothers and was a hard worker who loved his family. To name his greatest characteristic would be compassion.

Patrick worked as a school bus driver for the Rochester, Washington, school district. He was loved by the students and was described as a wonderful and reliable co-worker with a great sense of humor. He loved the water and spending time in his "farm." He enjoyed his time in Alaska where he perfected his fishing skills. He loved the beach, mountains and animals especially cats and dogs. Montana was always home and where he loved to be.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Margaret "Donia" Peterson and a sister, Gethsemani Maroney, who died before birth; great-grandparents William "Corky" and Lily Corcoran.

He is survived by his mother, LeiLoni (Croasdell) Anderson of Rochester, WA; father, Ryan Maroney of Missoula, MT; one sister, Faith Ann Maroney (Stephen) Real; brothers, Bryant, Jason, and Daniel Anderson and Achilles Maroney; his girlfriend, Amy Saenz; paternal grandparents, Tim and Jan Maroney; maternal grandfathers, Frances Richard (Alyce) Croasdell and Peter "Jerry" Peterson; a niece, Lennon Real; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
