State and local COVID-19 update, Aug. 10, 2021

The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Montana on the state map after today's update was 118,754 with 493 new cases, 2,404 active. The number of active hospitalizations was 154. The number of deaths was 1,726.

Blaine County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 4 active, 851 total, 24 deaths.

Hill County Health Department reported Monday evening that 12 new cases were reported from Saturday through Monday with 31 active, no active hospitalizations, 2,101 total cases, 46 deaths.

Rocky Boy - last reported Friday, also reported on either Chouteau or Hill County numbers, 3 active cases, 2 active on Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation, 800 total. It has had 7 deaths.

Fort Belknap, reported Monday evening, also reported on either Blaine or Phillips County numbers, no new cases, none active, 511 total, 12 deaths.

Liberty County, reported on the state update this morning, had 6 new cases, 9 active, 131 total, 1 death.

Chouteau County, reported on the state update this morning, had no new cases, 1 active, 520 total, 7 deaths.

People can find online where vaccines are available in their area through https://vaccinefinder.org , operated by Boston's Children's Hospital and supported by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the United States Digital Service.
